Please briefly tell us about your background. Who is Popozoglo Marina as an artist?

I have been photographing for over 4 years. She started her career in a small town in Siberia (Russia). Now I live and work in Moscow. Not so long ago, she went more into the Fashion industry. Now there is a desire to create projects related to gloss. I love beautiful photos with pure color and perfect skin.

We admire the exquisite level of detail in all your works. Does your creative process start from a certain image in your mind, or do you seek inspiration as you progress?

My photo sessions always start with an idea in my head. First, I think over the image, then select the team and already shoot.

What would you say is your style of photography?

The style of photography is commercial, closer to fashion and beauty.

How long does it take to create one of these wonderful works?

1 day is needed to develop an idea, a couple more days to select a team, shoot and process.

Who is the person that inspires you the most and why? What will be the suggestions to new photographers?

Most of all I am inspired by artists, fashion designers, and in general creative people. I wish new photographers do not give up on their difficult path, believe in myself and work hard.

How would you describe yourself at work in so many years of career?

I would describe myself as a creative madman, but with a share of a scrupulous manager. I take preparation very seriously.

If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

I would like not to allow Russian photographers to dump and devalue their work.

How do you keep yourself motivated and your photographic art in vogue?

I support motivation by the development of observation, I read books to make my imagination work better.

How do you feel about digital manipulation and post processing programs? Are they important to your photography?

I'm good at post-processing. They allow you to enhance the strengths of photography and the person in it, but I am convinced that for a good job you need to be able and good at photographing.

What has been the highlight of your career so far and what are your hopes/dreams for the future?

Until now, I have never been published in any magazines, for me this is a huge step, thanks for this opportunity. In the future, I want to develop as a fashion photographer.
