Photographer: Harald KröherNata, how did you get involved with modeling? Where are you based now?
Hi, my name is Natalie. As a model, I'm known as Nata Fuebbie. I am 49 years old and professionally I'm modeling since 1 1/2 years.
Even as a girl I dreamt of being a model but I never believed in myself. I thought I was not good enough for it. When my 50s anniversary started to approach and everyone around me- my friends, acquaintance, and the whole environment started to talk about being 'old' something changed inside of me. I do believe that there is no limit to age, the only limit is your health. I'm almost 50 and I am a model and this is my choice. Today I know that I'm good enough for it! To bring beauty and fashion to every woman of any age and to break boundaries, limits, and stereotypes is my mission. I live and work in amazing Berlin.
What do you love most about being a model? And, what do you least enjoy?
I love fashion and modeling and I like showing people that fashion lives in everyday life, you can wear different garments from the catwalk in everyday situations. I like to be brave and to mix styles, colors, and forms. But there are some more things that I like very much about modeling! I meet talented designers, photographers, makeup artists,s and many other people from the fashion industry! To be a part of a huge creative work and to be the first to wear the designer creations and to show them to the public is a big honor for me. I don't like that I can't eat cakes every day.
Tell us more about yourself. What else do you do next to modeling?
l teach children, paint, do a lot of sports, produce my own live talk show "Cosy Broadcasting" on Facebook Nata Fuebbie and enjoy my life.
What fuels your imagination and provides you with inspiration?
I can be inspired in different ways - talented people, crazy ideas, nature, silence, music, and many other things.
In your own eyes, how has modeling experience changed you as a person? What have you learned?
I have learned one very important thing. Believe in yourself! There are no limits! Your age, color of skin, origin, and size do not matter! live your dreams! And do not let anything or anyone stop you!
Share your wildest photo shoot/modeling story.
We wanted to make a photoshoot on the pink lake in Ukraine, a very rare and beautiful lake! We wanted to come to the Rocky hills near the lake but there was no road there. The photographer stopped the car 700 -B00 m away from Rocky hill and we had to pass through the fields full of snakes and spiders. It was this summer, it was very hot 45°C and we had very heavy equipment. The photographer knew the area and he told me to follow each step of him. I could see the nets of spiders everywhere! It was pretty dangerous and adventurous. At the end of the day, we were very happy and had beautiful photos. But it was one of the most difficult ways to the photoshoot set in my model life!
What is the most courageous thing you have ever done?
Actually, I took part in different photoshoots already. It was very cold or very hot, very wet or very dry, very high very low. But I do remember the photoshoot under the water and the photoshoot with the fire. I had to overcome fears because l was afraid of the fire and I was scared to be under the water, although it was not very deep.
What is the beauty trick you do before a photo shoot?
I really don't do anything special. I try to relax, take a hot bath, and think about nice things.
Is there anything you would change about the modeling industry if you could?
Thank you for the question! I want to change the attitude to models 40+! Dear designers, believe in us! If you choose model 40+ you show the world that fashion has no borders, no limits of age! it is for everyone and more and more older women will have the courage to wear your masterpieces and we can make this world even more and more beautiful!
What projects are you working on next, and what are your goals for the future?
Next month I will be in three publications for different Fashion magazines, and I'm having two fashion shows: one for the designer Tam Mai and one big Fashion Show for the Fashion Hall Berlin, there will be many national and international designers. On the catwalk, I was walking for many designers for example Silbemadelcouture, Tam Mai, Marco Marcu, la Goniadze, Paulina Tzvetanova, Maurice Martinez, Usman Dias, Julia Perekrestova, and many others! I am looking forward to cooperating with more and more designers! I have publications in different fashion magazines the latest one was in the Heart of Hollywood“ magazine. It was our mutual work with the designer Silbernadelcouture and the photographer Frank Uttman! I'm very proud of it!
