Mohammad, could you please briefly introduce yourself, and tell us about your first encounter with photography? Who has influenced you to start taking photographs?

Hello, thank you for giving me the opportunity to speak. I am 28 years old. I was born in Iran. I was a futsal player most of my life. My sister worked as an editor in a studio many years ago. Once he asked me to go there and I went and when I got acquainted with this work, I became interested in it. 11 years have passed since then, but in my opinion, my career started in 2018.

From your point of view, what are the most difficult aspects of professional photography?

There is difficulty in every profession and art. Photography also has its difficulties. What matters is how you deal with problems. Photography is a challenge for me and I think the difficulty is the best teacher for any photographer.

What are the biggest challenges of being a photographer?

The biggest challenge, I think, is the many changes and endlessness of the image debate. This endlessness motivates me to work and learn

In your opinion, how beauty is perceived at the present age? What does photography mean to you personally and what really makes a woman or man beautiful?

The world of images over the years has created a series of elements to define beauty. What motivates me to photograph is to show equality. Photography is a democratic art. So is beauty. The connection between these two is my definition of photography.

What type of models do you prefer to shoot with? Why?

I prefer to photograph models with natural faces because that person accepts and loves him/herself. However, choosing a model depends entirely on the idea.

Are there any other photographers you lookup? Who?

Yes of course. Photographers like Lindsay Adler,Chris Knight,Tim Tadder and many others.

You are going about conducting a photoshoot, could you take us through the typical planning process for your images?

It all starts with a thought or imagination or a mental image. The next step is to see the photos related to the idea. The third step is to write and draw a diagram of light and other things. It is also important to talk to the fashion designer, makeup artist and other team members. Choose the right model and location and finally coordinate team members for the day of photography.

In addition to being sharp and well lit, your photos are beautifully edited. What is your retouching/production philosophy?

Photo editing was also discovered with the discovery of photography. For me, photo editing is as important as photography itself. Retouching and photo editing is desirable for me as long as the border of photography and painting is not broken.

What would be your tips/advice to models looking to expand their portfolio?

I think seeing good photos and working with good photographers will help. I'm talking about Iranian models because I do not really know how modeling works in other countries

What projects are you working on next, and what are your goals for the future?

I am not working on a project at the moment, but in the near future I would like to work with children.
