When did your passion for photography start and what were the main milestones that turned you into the artist you currently are?
My love and passion towards photography has started back in 2016, when I signed up for studies. During school I mainly took personal art project when I had a goal of expressing my ideas, emotions and thoughts- and to put them all into an actual frame.
Time has passed and today I have an established business, which specify in commercial, creative and art photography- mainly for companies. Meanwhile, I continue to have my own personal art.
You are a creative mind with an exceptional eye for detail, are you able to talk us through your process when creating your art?
The process of creation begins with ideas popping in my head. I create and visualize my own fruit of imagination and from that moment I pursuit genuine results. From start to finish, getting through the whole process, while choosing the set stage, background, outfits and models, I do it all so it builds up to my own precise concept. The crew which is by my side is also chosen by hand, trying to get the best people for the project.
As the expert you are, what are the unique features of this kind of photography and the keys to master it?
My main route of photography is getting it staged and creative. I deliver a story, legend, fantasy which are all realistic as opposed to plain modeling shots- both commercial and non.
Could you share how you expand your vision of art, as a photographer?
Both my viewpoint toward photography and inspiration are a product of my everyday life. It can all be taken from scenes on movies and TV shows. Some are even a part of games and simple routines as a walk to a nearby grocery store.
How hard has it been establishing yourself in the industry and what are some of the largest things you've faced?
The difficulty in establishing myself is still a matter that I consider. It’s a competitive market. The thing which helps me overcome few barriers is the fact that I am trying to excel in specific fields. By understanding the things which differ me from the rest- the connection to art and the combination I create with my technical expertise and experience. In these aspects I am a free bird and have no one to compete with.
How has photography influenced you as a person and what do you love most about being a photographer?
Photography has changed me completely as a human being and a professional both. Starting as an economist, all I did was office tasks and managing long excel sheets. With time, I managed to break through this monotonous field and express myself through art. My passion made me bloom and gave me an opportunity to transform my art to my daily source of income.
What would be your tips/advice to models looking to expand their portfolio?
My best advice to models is to give oneself to the photographer’s vision. Moreover, it is best to work on one’s acting abilities and expressions. It all comes down to being able to give yourself in the photoshoot and enjoy the ride.
You have an incredible career – what have been your highlights?
My career peak point was the human body exposition I gave. It was shown in a gallery in Tel Aviv.
