Tell us a little bit about yourself and your background.

For As far as I can remember, I have always been interested in darkness. It seemed to me that it was a living being and could penetrate into the most secret corners of my consciousness, forcing me to think about what, otherwise, I should never have thought. When I was a child, I almost never slept, and all the time flipped through stacks of glossy magazines at night, and noticed how fashion, clothing and style changed, how the posture and sitting of models alternated, and what accessories were used and what colors were chosen for makeup.

Then, I had to decide about which one, a journalist or a photographer, would be my profession in the future. At the age of 6, my grandfather gave me the very first camera - a film Zenith, and he wanted me to take photographs of anything that I liked. I ended up with a whole collection of butterflies, bugs, poop, flowers and the like. Grandpa called it "photo reports." At the same time, I myself chose it as a profession.

Why did you choose to pursue a career as a photographer?

I have always loved taking pictures of the sky. I wanted to take a closer look at it. When I was a child, I had a camera that helped me take pictures of the starry sky. I now have a professional DSLR camera that allows me to turn people into real stars.

How would you describe yourself to people that don't know you?

What kind of person am I? Good or bad? It depends on how I feel in the day.

Honestly, I'm just trying to be a happy person. That's all. I love drinking 3 in 1 coffee. I love planning any activity in detail, and I can't live without traveling.

When I get angry, I start to work even harder than usual. When I am jealous of anything, I start dreaming of that thing. And even if I make mistakes, I know that it is only way that teaches me how to feel real life.

What are the key ingredients for a striking image?

The key ingredients for any image are the creator's sense of emotion and the vision of the world. It seems to me that the secret is to have a perfect team. I sincerely believe that everyone should pursue his own way with the team that covers such things as a make-up artist, makeup itself, the stylist, the image and appearance of the model, the photographer, ability to keep this image in the frame, for it will never be repeated, etc. Everyone should do his own thing, each person has his own experience and observation. Working withh a team turns out to be more effective, more interesting, more versatile, because one head is good, but two are better, and even three are much better.

Could you share how you expand your vision of art, as a photographer?

It's like you have one eye, not two, and you have to look at the world from different angles only through this eye. And, yes, it works this way in principle. Everyone who has photographed at least once in his life will understand me. The world wants something new: colors, shapes, combinations, bold decisions. Personally, I have stored in my mind a lot by looking at and analyzing hundreds of photos viewed on the Internet, of advertisements on TV or in the magazines, of models at shop windows for years. In such a process, the brain constructs the idea itself, and here the main thing is to catch this moment and to bring the idea into life!

What do you think is the hardest thing in your life you've ever had to overcome?

Honestly speaking, right now I am going through a difficult moral phase. In a few days I will have moved to another country and I will start a new life almost from the beginning. And this means there will be new people, locations and ideas. Now is the time to reboot myself, to stop comparing myself with anyone else, to form my own lifestyle based on previous experiences. Only words alone do not suffice It is time to act now.
