Jenny Di Marco: Every model should work on her selfconfidence, special sign, attitude & style

Happy to have you here, Jenny. Tell us your story, how did you got started modeling and where is your home at the moment?

Thank you for giving to me the opportunity to talk about myself and my fashion world.

I grow up in the city of Milano and I live in one of the most excentric and colorful area of the city: Porta Venezia district. How did i started modeling? I remember I loved a second-hand shop BIVIO MILANO and one time there was an amazing red plumage excentric dress weared from an american Popstar during a concert, and I started to pose just out from the shop, in the cutest narrow italian street with all passing people looking at this fantastic dress under the sun!!

I loved so much to be a model for one day, that I wanted to do it again and again and for real!

I started with the beauty competition of Miss Italia I won the Miss Rocchetta Bellezza title and the next year I won the selection for the National Final for Miss Universe and I placed 3rd runner up in Rome. After this I had the opportunity to runway on the Altaroma Haute Couture, held in Guido Reni District and Cinecittá. Later on I take part every year in Milan Paris Fashion Week and I had the opportunity to pose for many important brand such as Philip Plein, Versace designer Ilian Rachov, Agata Ruiz Dela Prada, Rosso Rame, and finally In this images I interpretate the showcased collection "3sizes project" for Sofia Alemani Fashion Creative.

This summer I shifted from the catwalk to the Red Carpet when I got an invitation for the 'America Latina' night at the 78° Venice Film Festival. A special thanks to Vogue hairstyle Milano and Emilio Schubert for a sparkling golden dress, and One4everyone for all the accessorize and having me as brand Testimonial.

Tell us more about yourself. What else do you do next to modeling?

I know it is not easy to conciliate work with studies, but contrary to what people say there are many graduated models.

I never stop studing and after 5 years of university now I am graduated in the english course of Management Engeneer at the Politecnico of Milano.

I think its possibile to conciliate engeneer with fashion infact I am working on some engeneering project to be applied on retail world offering many services for fashion brands.

What do you love most about being a model? And, what do you least enjoy?

I got this answer! I love being a model when I am looking for this beloved skynny pants and there are no more sizes left except XL and XS and moment I am the happiest girl ever I love being XS size! It always happen to me!

On the other side I cant always eat pizza, gelato, or cioccolato and for an Italian girl its a tortue!

What is the most challenging being a model?

Every model should work on her selfconfidence, special sign, attitude, style, preparation, tolerance for stress and competitiveness and finally a model must have flawless skin, hair, hand, body and it may be very expensive.

If you could change something in the modeling world, what would it be?

I think the fashion system is already changing values: from the standard ideal perfection of mannequins to promoting diversity, and moving forward economical environmental and social sustainability.

What fuels your imagination and provides you with inspiration?

I love to be sorrounded by creative people sharing ideas and actually my squad is very inspiring and succesfull: Marco follows all the managerial aspects related to model contracts, fashion consulting, e-commerce, websites and social media with JDM agency.

What keeps you excited about life in general?

I love challenges I push the limits, I look at the future and I learn from the past.

Looking back how has modeling experience changed your personal/professional life? Have you grown more comfortable with yourself since you have started?

Absolutely! I have found my perfect dimension in the world of fashion... It is eccentric just like me!

What kind of life would you like to have?

I think I am lucky to have a good family, trusty friends, a respectufl job and still many dreams to realize...

Where can our readers keep up with your work and get connected with you?
