Iryna, can you please briefly introduce yourself. How your interest in the beauty industry has sparked?
Hi. I’m Iryna Neveza , I am 30 years. Original I’m from Ukraine but I have been living in Italy (Triest) for a long time. Since I was a girl I have wanted to be a make-up artist, and in that way, I’ve always wanted to help ladies improve their look. Fortunately, my dream came true 3 years ago when I become a make-up artist.
What do you think are some of the keys to being a successful makeup artist?
Well, In my opinion, was it’s about originality and the sense for details. It’s also very important to be able to express your uniqueness and not to be afraid to show courage and your creative character.
How would you describe your signature look and what is it about your style that sets you apart from other makeup artists?
Definitely, something that sets me apart from the others is the fact that my style is both sexy and elegant similar to desire temptation, and restraint.
Why is having an MUA essential to a photographer? What can you provide to help a photographer's images stand out?
Undoubtedly, a MUA makes a photo look much better because due to good make-up a face looks more voluminous. It also helps avoid excessive matte or shine on the skin and create the desired look on a model ( aristocratic sublime, simple.
Why is shooting for camera and lights, different than everyday makeup?
In the first place a make-up for shooting needs to be stronger because the camera captures less and makes it less visible. You also need to apply more make-up, you even need to exaggerate because it will not be shown up as strong by the camera.
Can you tell us about a memorable moment you had while doing makeup?
I’ll remember one shooting for all my left because I forget to bring my make-up brushes and I needed to manage somehow to apply the make-up. Eventually, I did it with my fingers. All in all, think that a MUA needs to be resourceful.
What is the most important beauty advice that you can give to women?
Personally, I always seek to explain to ladies that the first steps must be the protection and hydration of the skin. They need to take care of themselves always no matter it ladies, don’t forget to be happy and to smile because it influences your look.
In your opinion, what are common mistakes you see women make on their makeup?
What I usually see ultimately is that ladies exaggerate with make-up, they blindly follow the trends without knowing what smiles them.
Would you have any tips for maintaining a youthful appearance and keeping your skin routine simple?
The skin must always be light and clean, protected, and nourished. Additionally, the diet has a significant role in overall health and in maintaining a youthful appearance.
