When did your passion for photography start and what were the main milestones that turned you into the artist you currently are?

It all started when I was 12 years old and got my first film camera. Buying film, shooting, then developing in red light and printing a photo ... It was an unforgettable experience. Then, after a long break, I took in my hands not only

film camera, but also his first digital SLR camera. At some point, I realized that my main job brings me less money and completely

does not bring pleasure. This is what prompted me to change my life. Return to filming and open a small studio.

Has your vision and style evolved or changed over time?

In the beginning there were a lot of black and white photos, and they were limited to 36 frames. Of course, over time, the style changed, the technique, the shooting possibilities changed. There was a transition to a digital camera and work with color, wider shooting possibilities

evening and night shots, you can experiment more. Although, I think, everyone has their own unique "handwriting", in my case love for

I never got through to black-and-white photographs - there are a lot of them in my works.

How has photography influenced you as a person and what do you love most about being a photographer?

Photography has radically changed my life. I began to perceive her not only as favorite business, but a serious profession.

The opportunity to meet new people, trying something new is probably what I like about this profession.

What inspires you and what gives you ideas to create your beautiful images? Can your ideas change depending on the model you are working with?

Very often a song, a watched movie or just a person serves as inspiration on the street. Images appear in your head and you are already thinking about a new shoot with might and main. Yes very much ideas depend on the model you are working with. Most often, it depends on the choice of model

how accurately you can embody the images in the photo.

From your point of view, what makes the shoot successful?

The success of shooting depends on a large number of factors, but, first of all, it is mutual understanding in the team. When the model understands you with half a word. When, just by looking at the first shots, stylist, make-up artist and hairdresser immediately begin to discuss image enhancements. It is then that the picture is as beautiful as possible.

In addition to being sharp and well lit, your photos are beautifully edited. What is your retouching/production philosophy?

As for retouching - I adhere to the "less is more" strategy. A large amount of retouching is already an "art photo".

I rely more on lighting work and try to make the most of the camera and optics.

Fashion can be a somewhat unforgiving industry with a lot of egos, how do you deal with it on set or behind the scenes?

Quite a difficult question. We also have to deal with photographers who have conceit "geniuses", and with models whose "ego" simply does not fit into such a small camera :) Perhaps keeping away from such people is the best decision.

If you couldn't be a photographer, what would be your other career choice?

Usually photographers are not very good at technical issues. I have a technical education and I'm pretty good at computers.

For a long time he was engaged in the production of advertisements and books.

What is one last impression you want to leave in your photographs?

In my photos, I would like to express more emotions so that they attract people.

What has been the highlight of your career so far and what are your hopes/dreams for the future?

The highlight was the opening of the studio and my daughter's first modeling contract. And my photos helped her with that. As for the future - I would just like to enjoy what I love, the opportunity to travel and shoot in different countries.

Where can we see more of your works and get connected with you?

More of my work can be seen on my Instagram page, where you can also chat and ask questions.
