This body of work “Capturing a Moment” is inspired by an old SLR camera. Deconstructed to reveal its inner workings as visual inspiration to translate into three-dimensional design.
These are a series of wearable sculptured pieces made using a mix of precious metals, textiles, paper and plywood; challenging notions of material values in tandem with digital and analogue processing.
To see these pieces from a photographer’s point of view, is new experience and giving endless possibilities for using them in fashion industry.
