Model: Selena Mayer @miss_selenityFirst off, can you tell us about yourself and how you got started in photography?
My name is Anton, I am 30 years old, I live in Russia, Moscow.
I started photography when I was 22 years old and it was just a hobby that grew into my lifestyle and work.
Anton, what are the biggest challenges do you experience in the photography field?
The biggest problem is competition, there are too many good photographers now and it's hard to stand out from everyone.
Tell us a bit more about your project "Fashion pregnancy". Is there any particular message you would like to get across to the viewers?
My project "fashionable pregnancy" carries the message that during pregnancy it is not necessary to sit at home in pajamas and eat ice cream in buckets. Girls during pregnancy are still beautiful and can be fashionable.
What is one last impression you want to leave in your photographs?
You can stay in good shape and beauty, regardless of age and position, the main thing is that there is a desire.
How long does a shoot day typically last and what is the preparation like?
Preparation always takes differently, depending on the task and complexity of photography, and the shooting itself takes on average 2-3 hours.
In your own experience, what are the biggest challenges for an independent photographer?
Probably the same as in the 2nd point, this is competition and be in trend.
How important is it to stay up-to-date on the latest trends to be successful in what you do?
It is imperative to be in trend, even having your own style, the market is constantly changing and those who do not have time to adapt to modern trends are left behind.
What would be your tips/advice to models or photographers looking to expand their portfolio?
Shoot more creative projects, be inspired by top magazines, follow current trends and don't get upset if something doesn't work out. The main thing is not to give up.
What do you like to do when you are not behind the camera?
When I am not filming - I like active sports, such as cycling, snowboarding, swimming, and I also like to cook and watch movies.
What projects are you working on next, and what are your goals for the future?
At the moment I have several new projects, but I can tell you about them later, while this is a secret :)
